Shop Order (Operation) Labor Load

Usage

This Gantt chart displays the scheduling of shop orders or shop order operations. The outer bar represents the labor load category divided per day or week, while the inner bar represents either a shop order, or a shop order operation depending on the Y-axis option selected. The color of the inner bar will change depending on how the chart is grouped.

Select the inner or outer bar to perform an action related to that particular shop order or shop order operation. Select the inner bar to navigate to that particular shop order or shop order operation. Select a segment of an outer bar to navigate to all load sources contributing with load on that specific day/week and labor class.

When the shop order option is selected for the Y-axis, the chart is titled as Shop Order Labor Load whereas when the shop order operation option is selected it is titled as Shop Order Operation Labor Load. This chart only shows the labor load from shop orders.

You may reschedule the shop order or shop order operation by selecting the inner bar and using drag-and-drop.

Configuration:

The information can be viewed per week or day. Click on the calendar on the topmost right hand corner to alternate between viewing the data per week and per day.
Right-click on a section of a bar, point to Group By and select the category by which you want to group the information. If you point to Characteristic Code a submenu will appear listing discrete characteristic codes connected to any of the work centers in the search result. The characteristic value for an operation will primarily be fetched from the shop order configuration and secondarily from the inventory part characteristics. Note that the operation will only show a characteristic value if it is connected to a work center which is connected to the selected characteristic code.
Right-click on a section of a bar, point to Y-Axis and select whether you want to show the scheduling on a shop order or shop order operation level.
It is possible to show/hide category options as required by clicking on a title of the category option on the legend.
It is possible to show/hide load categories as required by clicking on a title of a load category on the legend.
