This bar chart displays supplies and demands per day for an inventory part. Only one part record can be visualized at the time. Toggle between them is possible by clicking the part records in the legend. The records are sorted ascending in an alphabetic order. Note that there can be several records existing for the same part if the part is configured, or controlled by a project.
Supply items will be presented as a positive bar and demand items as a negative bar. The projected on-hand and plannable quantity is presented as lines which are dynamically calculated from the supplies/demands selected to be displayed. I.e. if you hide a specific load/demand source, the projected on-hand line is re-calculated.
If a safety stock, or order point has been defined for the part these will be represented with lines in the chart.
Selected demand/load sources may be rescheduled by selecting a bar segment and use of drag-and-drop. The supply/demand sources supporting drag-and-drop rescheduling is presented in the About Visualization for Part Availability.
