Define and Maintain Maintenance Level Routing

Explanation

This activity is used to view and maintain included operations by maintenance level for assembly and disassembly routings. Maintenance level routings represent the subset of the machine and labor operations defined in the monolithic routing which are relevant to this level of disassembly or assembly. Like the monolithic routings of which they are a subset, maintenance level routings are always defined for position parts.

The maintenance level routings are used during the define work scope process to ascertain the required operations based on the maintenance level defined for each overhaul part. The interim orders that are generated by releasing the work scope, which already contains the required routing information. The supply shop orders take the operations directly from the corresponding interim order rather than from the maintenance level routing itself.

Detailed operation information, such as machines and labor defined for the part, is specified in the Routing window.
