Define Disposition Code Location

Explanation

This activity is used to set a location as default for a particular disposition code and a given site. This location is suggested when a disposition line is created using the specific disposition code and when the disposition shop order is used at the given site.

Prerequisites

• Disposition code must be defined as basic data in the Repair Setup Basic Data/Disposition Code tab.
• At least one inventory location of type picking must exist.

System Effects

A location is defaulted when a disposition line is created using the specific disposition code and when the disposition shop order is used at the given site.

Procedure

1. Open the Repair Setup Basic Data window.
2. Select the Disposition Code Location tab.
3. Create a new record.
4. Define the mandatory values; Disposition Code, Site and Location No.
5. Save.
