This activity is used to perform sales and operations planning for a product family.

Prerequisites

The sales and operations plan must be in the state InProgress.

As a result of this activity, sales and operations planning is performed.

Procedure

1. Open the Sales and Operations Planning for Make to Stock or Sales and Operations Planning for Make to Order window.
2. Query for the MS level 0 part and MS set that you want to create a sales and operations plan for.
3. Click the S&OP Grid tab.
4. Select which period to perform planning for.
5. Enter or modify the forecast for the product family in the New Forecast field.
6. Enter or modify the operations plan for the product family in the New Operations Plan field.
7. Repeat steps 4-6 for each period you want to perform planning for.
8. Save the record.
