Copy Alternates to Templates
Explanation
This activity is used to copy template alternate definitions between serial
structure templates. The purpose of this activity is to ease the process for
you, when a template alternate definition is used across different serial
structure templates.
Prerequisites
Template alternates must be defined for the template to copy from.

Copy Template Alternate
Procedure
- Open the
Template Alternates window, and query
(F3) for your template part.
- Select the row, right-click, and then click Copy to Template. The
Copy Template Alternate dialog box opens.
- Select the Copy to Template check box for the templates to which
the alternate is to be copied. If you want to copy the alternate to
all templates, click Select All. Note: All existing template
parts are listed in the dialog box, and the installed part given in the
alternate definition may not exist in one or more of the templates.
- Click OK.
