Unpark Shop Order

Explanation

Use this activity to unpark a shop order which is in the status of parked.

If the ownership of the shop order is company owned, then Include as Supply flag in the Unpark Shop Order dialog box is selected by default. Therefore set prototype shop orders with Include as Supply flag defined on the site, to be used with company owned prototype shop orders. Include as Supply will be cleared and not will be used for all customer owned shop orders as well.

Prerequisites

This activity requires a shop order which is in the status of parked.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, shop order material lines and operation lines go back to the status they had before the shop order was parked.

Include as supply flag in the Detail tab of the Shop Order window will be updated according to the given settings.

Procedure

To unpark shop order(s) using the data view:

1. Select one or more shop orders that you want to unpark.
• In Shop Order, MRO Shop Order, Disposition Shop Order window, select the required record.
• In the Shop Orders or Production Line Management/Shop Orders window, select one or more shop orders from the table.
2. Right-click anywhere in the header, point to Shop Order Status and then click Unpark.
3. A dialog box appears with the value Include as Supply already selected. You can update the value here if you wish to do so.
4. Click OK or select OK for all if you are dealing with more than one shop order and needs to set the same value for all shop orders. The system changes the status of the shop order to what it was before the shop order was parked.

To unpark shop order(s) using the visualization view:

1. Open a visualizer enabled window and query for the needed site.
2. If the Data View is displayed, click Visualization View on the title bar.
3. Right-click and click Select Visualization. The Select Visualization dialog box is opened.
4. Double-click on Shop Order Machine Load or Shop Order Labor Load.
5. Select the bar/segment representing the shop order(s) you want to unpark, right-click, point to Shop Order Status and then click Park.
6. A dialog box appears with the value Include as Supply already selected. You can update the value here if you wish to do so.
7. Click OK or select OK for all if you are dealing with more than one shop order and needs to set the same value for all shop orders. The system changes the status of the shop order to what it was before the shop order was parked.
