Transfer Machine, Labor and Indirect Transactions

Explanation

Use this activity to transfer the processing transactions that arise during manufacturing to the finance system. The transfer includes transactions created for machine and labor operations as well as indirect labor. You cannot transfer a specific processing transaction; you can only limit the transfer by entering a specific site and a date limit. All processing transactions from the specified site on or before the specified date are transferred.

Note: The amount on the processing transaction is rounded to the number of decimals set up for the currency code of the accounting currency. If the amount is rounded to zero, no postings will be created for the processing transaction and hence no vouchers lines will be created for those transactions.

Prerequisites

This activity requires that IFS/Financials be installed.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the system transfers all un-transferred transactions that fulfill the specified conditions. The transferred transactions are stored in a temporary table in IFS/Financials before they are transferred to the general ledger. When transactions are transferred to the general ledger, they are updated with vouchers and accounting periods in IFS/Manufacturing, making it easier to track them.
