Stop Machine Downtime

Explanation

Use this activity to register that downtime has stopped on a work center resource.

Prerequisites

An downtime clocking must have been started for at least one of the work center resources filtered in the shop floor workbench header.

System Effects

The machine downtime clocking for the selected work center resource will receive a stop time and duration of the clocking interval is calculated. Time that falls outside the work center calendar is considered according to the settings on the site which to the downtime cause belongs.

Procedure

From the Shop Floor Workbench window:

  1. Open the Shop Floor Workbench window and filter for the relevant work center resources.
  2. Click the Stop Downtime option.
  3. In the Work Center field, use the List of Values to select the work center for which the downtime should be stopped.
  4. In the Resource field, use the List of Values to select the work center resource for which the downtime should be stopped.
  5. Click OK.

From the Time Clock window:

  1. Click the Stop Downtime button.
  2. Enter the Site to report on.
  3. Optionally, enter the Employee ID or the Team reporting.
  4. Select the Work Center to stop downtime for from the list.
  5. Select the Resource to stop downtime for from the list.
  6. Click OK.
