Set Manufacturing Date

Explanation

This activity is used to set a manufacturing date for a manufactured part that is tracked.

Prerequisites

• No component on the shop order is allowed to have the Expiration Date Origin check box selected.
• The shop order must be in status Planned, Released or Started.

System Effects

• The Manufactured Date in Lot Batch Master or Part Serial will be updated according to the date entered.
• If the part has a shelf life defined, the expiration date of the part will be calculated based on the date entered.

Procedure

1. Open the Shop Order window and search for your order.
2. On the Misc Order Info tab, enter the desired date in the Manufacturing Date field. The date that you enter cannot be a future date.
3. Press Save.
