Reschedule Shop Order

Explanation

This activity is used to reschedule a shop order. The activity can be performed using the Reschedule command from a shop order supply in the Inventory Part Availability chart.

This activity can be performed from IFS Aurena client only.

Prerequisites

An open shop order with remaining supply must exist.

System Effects

• The shop order will receive a new Need Date according to the value provided in the dialog box. If the date provided is a non-working day the Need Date will be set to the first work day before the date given.
• Schedule Direction for the order is set to Backwards Scheduling and the order will be rescheduled to finish the last available work date/time before the date given.
•  If the shop order site is CBS server enabled, then scheduling server will decide the start and finish time of the shop order. Thus it is possible that the shop order gets scheduled way different time slot than expected due to manufacturing resource capacity limitations.
