Modify Clocking

Explanation

Use this activity to manually modify information like start and/or stop time and crew size on an existing clocking record.

Prerequisites

• A clocking record must exist.
• For machine and interruption clockings, the time interval may not overlap with any other clocking interval on the same operation.
• For labor clockings, the time interval may not overlap with any other clocking interval on the same operation for the same employee.
• For indirect clockings, the time interval may not overlap with any other clocking interval for the same employee.
• If an employee qualification requirement exists for the operation, and the qualification check for the site is mandatory, then the employee logging on to the shop floor workbench must have those qualifications.

System Effects

• As a result of this activity, all clockings within the same clocking sequences will be updated with the new values specified.
• Possible operation/indirect/downtime history transaction will be reversed and a new updated ones will be created.

Procedure

From Shop Floor Workbench window:

1. Open the Shop Floor Workbench window and search for the relevant operation.
2. in the Clockings tab, select the clocking record to modify, right-click and then click Modify Clocking, the Modify Clocking dialog box appears.
3. To change the start date/time of the clocking, update the date and time in the Start Time field.
4. To change, or to set the stop date/time of the clocking, enter the relevant date and time in the Stop Time field.
5. To change the crew size on a labor clocking, update the value in the Crew Size field. This is only available if the site is set to report labor time anonymously.
6. To change the downtime cause on a machine downtime clocking, enter the new cause in the Downtime Cause field, or select one using the List of Values.
7. To change the interruption cause on an interruption clocking, enter the new cause in the Interruption Cause field, or select one using the List of Values.
8. Optionally enter/update the clocking note in the Clocking Note field.
9. Click OK.

From Shop Floor Clockings window:

1. Open the Shop Floor Clockings window and search for the clocking to modify.
2. Right-click and then click Modify Clocking, the Modify Clocking dialog box appears.
3. To change the start date/time of the clocking, update the date and time in the Start Time field.
4. To change, or to set the stop date/time of the clocking, enter the relevant date and time in the Stop Time field.
5. To change the crew size on a labor clocking, update the value in the Crew Size field. This is only available if the site is set to report labor time anonymously.
