Mass Delete Shop Order Requisitions

Explanation

This activity is used to remove shop order requisition data in order to maintain optimum database performance.

Prerequisites

Shop order requisition status must be shop order created.

System Effects

Essentially the mass delete shop order requisition process will delete all the information found at the shop order requisition client level.

Here are the different Shop Order Requisitions types that will be removed by this job:

• Master Schedule - Requisition from master scheduling.
• MRP - Requisition from MRP.
• Manual - Manually entered shop order requisition.
• Order Point - Order point proposal.
• Next Level Demand - Requisition from the next level demand calculation.
• PMRP - Requisition from PMRP.
• Project Master Sched - Requisition from project master scheduling.

Procedure

To mass delete shop order requisitions:

1. Enter the site from which you want the shop order requisition data to be purged. Click List to select a site from the available sites. Enter the percent (%) sign to make the system purge all sites.
2. Enter the proposed start date to which you want to purge shop order requisition data.
3. Click OK.

To mass delete shop order requisitions using a scheduled task:

1. Click Schedule to open the New Database Task Schedule window. Set the required scheduling parameters and save. Scheduled tasks can be seen in the Scheduled Database Tasks window
