Manually Enter Kanban Demand

Explanation

This activity is used to manually enter the demand for a Kanban circuit. Demand information must be either manually entered, or calculated in order to calculate the quantity per kanban or number of kanbans.

Prerequisites

 A Kanban circuit must exist.

System Effects

As a result of this activity demand information is added to the Kanban circuit.

Procedure

1. Search for the Kanban circuit to add demand information to.
2. On the Calculation Inputs tab, enter the demand quantity per day in the Demand Qty field.
3. Enter the replenishment lead time in days in the Lead Time field.
4. Optionally, enter a safety factor in the Safety Factor field.
5. Save.
