Create Batch Balance Header

Explanation

Use this activity to create a batch balance header in Batch Balance window. Batch balancing is used for concurrent planning of components and its demand parts.

Prerequisites

Part that you want to balance must have been entered in the Inventory Part window. Part cannot be serialized, or configured.

System Effects

As a result of this activity a batch balance ID is created.

Procedure

1. Navigate to the Batch Balance window
2. Create a new record
3. Enter the part number of the part that you want to balance. Use List of Values to select from available parts. A value appears automatically in the Description field.
4. Press Save
