Calculate Labor Capacity for Manufacturing

Explanation

This activity is used to calculate the labor capacity for the labor classes on a site. The calculation for each labor class is based on individuals or groups.

The calculation can also include a capacity calculation for manufacturing qualifications. You can perform the calculation for one site at a time or for all the sites to which you have access. You can also schedule this as a scheduled task. The calculation is done from the date of initiation to the date specified in the Calculation to Date field. When there is no date specified in the Calculation to Date field, the last date that an operation is scheduled with a labor requirement is considered as the calculation to date.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the available and theoretical man hours for labor class and each qualification profile stored in the database for each day is updated. The stored data will later be used to generate the Employee Qualification Demand Graph window as well as the available and theoretical capacity for manufacturing labor class.
