Reschedule Manually using Drag-and-Drop

Explanation

Use this activity to manually reschedule your operations using the drag-and-drop functions.

Prerequisites

This activity requires that a site connected to a Scheduling Server be created.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the system reschedules the selected operations.

When a work center resource, labor class person or a tool instance is blocked for use, new operations cannot be dragged and dropped or inserted on the blocked resource. Only the operations that are already scheduled in a blocked resources can be dragged and dropped on the blocked resources.

Procedure

1. If the scheduling client is not already running, open the Scheduling Client dialog box. In the Site field, specify for which site you want to reschedule the operations. Use List to select from available sites.
2. Specify how long you want to use the scheduling client in the Time Limit field.
3. Click OK. This action starts the scheduling client.
4. Use the drag-and-drop functions to reschedule the operations of your choice.
5. Click Save.
