Add Machine Downtime Result

Explanation

Use this activity to manually register a time result for machine downtime registered on a downtime cause.

Prerequisites

To perform this activity, at least one downtime cause must have been entered in the Downtime Causes window.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, a machine downtime history transaction will be created.

Procedure

From the Shop Floor Reports window:

1. Right-click and then click Add Machine Downtime Result.
2. In the Site field, enter the site or use the list of values to select the site on which the time should be registered.
3. In the Downtime Cause field, use list of values to select the downtime cause on which the time should be registered.
4. In the Transaction Date field, enter the date on which the time should be registered.
5. In the Work Center field, enter the work center on which the downtime occurred.
6. In the Resource field, enter the work center resource on which the downtime occurred.
7. In the Time to Report field, enter the downtime in hours to report.
8. Click OK.

From the Shop Floor Workbench window:

1. Click the Reports tab and select the Show Downtime Reports option.
2. Right-click and then click Add Machine Downtime Result.
3. In the Site field, enter the site or use the list of values to select the site on which the time should be registered.
4. In the Downtime Cause field, use list of values to select the downtime cause on which the time should be registered.
5. In the Transaction Date field, enter the date on which the time should be registered.
6. In the Work Center field, enter the work center on which the downtime occurred.
7. In the Resource field, enter the work center resource on which the downtime occurred.
8. In the Time to Report field, enter the downtime in hours to report.
9. Click OK.
