Activate PM Program

Explanation

Use this activity to manually activate a new PM Program or PM Program revision, to generate PM actions and to connect them to work orders and service contracts. A PM Program is usually activated once all the preparation and planning have been performed on it.

Prerequisites

A PM Program in the Preliminary status should exist in the system.

System Effects

• As a result of this activity, the PM Program will be activated. 
• The previously active revision (if one exists) will be set to Obsolete.
• You will be able to generate PM actions from the PM Program, and connect it to the work orders, and service contracts.

Procedure

1. Open the PM Program window and query for the PM program you want to activate.
2. Right-click, point to PM Program Status and then click Active. The status is displayed in the Status field.
