Activity Transfer to Project Inventory

Explanation

This activity is used to transfer handling units or inventory parts to project inventory. You can transfer handling units or parts from standard inventory or from one project inventory to another. You can also use this activity to transfer handling units or parts between activities of the same project.

All of the above types of transfer can be initiated from the Handling Unit/Structure/Handling Units tab, the Handling Unit In Stock window and the Inventory Part In Stock window, and carried out in the Transfer to Project Inventory dialog box.

This activity also provides for the creation and printing of new bar codes. Changes in project belonging of inventory parts will affect how the parts are identified using barcodes.

It is possible to enter notes that will be saved on the resulting inventory transactions.
