Create HUs According to Packing Instruction

Explanation

This activity is used to create one or several empty handling unit structure according to the definition of a packing instruction. After creating the handling unit structure it will be the top node handling unit that is populated in the Handling Unit window and the underlying structure is displayed in the Handling Unit/Structure tab.

Prerequisites

At least one packing instruction must be defined.

One or several empty packing instructions is created and displayed in the Handling Unit window.

Procedure

1. Open the Handling Unit window.
2. Right-click and then click Create HUs According to Packing Instruction.
3. On the dialog box that appears, create a new record.
4. Enter a packing instruction or search for it using the List of Values.
5. Modify the quantity if you want to change the default quantity.
6. Click OK to complete.
