Activate the Task Card Revision

Explanation

This activity is used to set the task card revision to the Active status once the definition of the task card is completed.

Prerequisites

• A task card revision in the Preliminary status must exist.

System Effects

• The task card revision is set to the Active status.
• When the maintenance event to which this task card revision is connected is distributed to a work order, the task card and belonging information (e.g., resources and material) will be copied to the work order.

Procedure

1. Open the Task Card window and search for the desired task card revision.
2. Right-click, point to Status, and then click Set Active.
3. A message appears requiring confirmation of the step, click OK to continue.

This procedure can also be run from the Task Cards window and the Serial Part Revision/Task Cards tab.
