Sequence Subtasks within a Task Card

Explanation

This activity is used to sequence the subtasks within a task card. The purpose of this activity is to support the process of sequencing the work for regular maintenance orders with connected maintenance events (i.e., non-ELS maintenance orders).

Prerequisites

To perform this activity, subtasks must have been defined for the task card.

System Effects

• The subtasks which are defined for the task card will be sequenced.
• The sequencing will be transferred to the work order when the corresponding maintenance event is distributed.

Procedure

1. Open the Task Card window and search for the desired task card.
2. Click the Subtasks tab and then click the Sequencing sub tab.
3. Create a new record (F5).
4. In the Subtask ID field, enter the subtask. Use the List of Values to select a valid value.
5. In the Preceding Subtask field, enter the predecessor. Use the List of Values to select a valid value.
6. Save the information (F12).
