Modify Active Modification
Explanation
This activity is used to change certain values on an
active modification revision. The values that can be changed are the Category,
Days Forewarning, Rescission Date and Duration Workshop/Unit.
- The modification Category decides if the assigned
serials need to comply with the modification. When the category is set to
Mandatory the serials must comply with the modification.
- The Days Forewarning you specify will be the number of days,
before the calculated due date, that a modification event is to be created.
- The Rescission Date indicates the final date for the execution of
the modification on all assigned serials.
- The Duration Workshop indicates the time needed in the workshop
to perform the modification.
Prerequisites
A modification must have been defined. This modification must be in the
Active status.
System Effects
- Certain values (i.e., modification category, days forewarning, rescission
date and the duration in workshop) on the active modification revision are
modified as per your requirements.
- If the modification category is changed to Mandatory, the value To be
performed will appear automatically in the Perform Modification
field (Modification Details/Assign Serials) for all serials
assigned to the modification.
- If the days forewarning or the rescission date is changed, the due
calculation for the modification will run automatically for all serials to
calculate due dates and values.
