Define Maintenance Time Unit

Explanation

Use this activity to define maintenance time units. These defined time units will secure selection of valid time units for maintenance planning. 

Prerequisites

• The time units must be predefined in the Units of Measure window.

System Effects

• Execution of modifications can be based on the maintenance time unit.
• Preventive checks can be based on the maintenance time unit.

Maintenance Program Basic Data/Maint Time Unit

Procedure

1. Open the Maintenance Program Basic Data window and click the Maint Time Unit tab.
2. Create a new record or query for an existing one.
3. In the Maint Time Unit field, click List of Values and select a Unit Code. Once saved, the field cannot be modified.
4. In the No of Days field, enter the number of days the Unit Code equals. E.g. 1 year = 365 days. The following Maint Time Units are predefines in the application: Day, Hour, Week, Month, Year.
5. Save the changes.
