Define Criticality for Task Card

Explanation

This activity is used to define the criticality of a task card, i.e., how critical it is for the safety, cost, comfort and/or operational stability of the equipment being maintained. Observe the following example:

Assume that the task card is significantly important to the safety criticality of your part (equipment). Therefore, when you define a criticality for this task card, you should preferably select the criticality type Safety with a criticality level of Important or Very Important.

Prerequisites

To perform this activity, a task card must be defined for the part revision.

As a result of this activity, the criticality of the task card is defined.

Procedure

  1. Open the Task Card window and query (F3) for your part revision or for a specific task card.
  2. Click the Criticality tab and create a new record (F5).
  3. Select the required criticality type from the values displayed in the Criticality Code list.
  4. Select the criticality level for the selected criticality code from the values displayed in the Criticality Level list.
  5. Save the record (F12).
