This activity is used to define Rate Agreement Categories to use on each Rate Agreement. The Rate Agreement Category is typically used to distinguish between union rate agreements, any general benefit agreements, or rate agreements for defining prevailing wage rates. The category can be defined with the setting "Use Prevailing Wage". For a Rate Agreement that is supposed to be used as a prevailing wage rate agreement, a category with this setting set to Yes needs to be used.
The newly added Rate Agreement Category will be available in the header of the Rate Agreement under the LOV selection "Agreement Category". Once the Rate Agreement Category has been used for a Rate Agreement, it is not possible to edit or delete the agreement category.
