Load Certificate Level Template
Explanation
This activity is used to connect a certificate to a certificate level template. This
is useful in cases where multiple certificates use the same proficiency divisions.
An example would be language certificates that use the same proficiency levels
(e.g.,A1,A2,B1,B2,C1,C2) but each language would need a different certificate.
Note: If you link a certificate to a certificate level template, all manually
defined levels will be overwritten. All changes performed on the template will be
automatically applied to all linked certificates.
Prerequisites
In order to perform this activity:
- Certificates have to be registered in the
system.
- Qualification Level Template has to be defined in the
Qualification Level Template window
System Effects
As a result of this activity, certificates will have their levels of proficiency
fetched from a predefined level template. All changes applied to the template
afterwards will also affect the connect certificates.

Procedure
- Open the Certificates window.
- In the area on the left of the window, select the certificate to which you
want to connect a qualification level template. You might need to expand the
certificate tree in order to find the relevant certificate.
- In the Qualification Level Template ID field, enter the
identifier of a qualification level template which will fill in
qualification levels for the certificate.
Note: If you do this, you will link the certificate to the qualification
level template. You will overwrite all qualification level settings you have
already defined and every change made to the template will be applied to the
certificate as well.
- Save your changes.
