Link Certificate To Training Courses

Explanation

This activity is used to link a certificate to a training course which allows to obtain it. Each course can award a specific certificate level.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity:

• A certificate has to be registered in the system.
• A training course has to be registered in the Course Specification window.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, a certificate will be connected to a course which allows to obtain it.

Procedure

1. Open the Certificates window.
2. In the area on the left of the window, select the certificate to which you want to assign abilities. You might need to expand the certificate tree in order to find the relevant certificate.
3. On the Courses tab, add a new record.
4. In the Certificate Level ID field, enter which level of the certificate will be awarded for completing the course. If earlier you configured the certificate to have no levels, enter N/A.
5. In the Course ID field, enter the identifier of a course which awards the selected level of certificate.
6. Select the Mandatory check box if the course has to be completed in order to receive the certificate.
7. Save your changes.
