Enter Resource Capacity

Explanation

Resource capacity is used when analyzing load from planned activities. Resource is defined manually for a certain period of time, and the resulting capacity is calculated using the calendar connected to the resource, resource group or resource structure.

Prerequisites

A valid calendar must be connected to the resource structure.

System Effects

Capacity is calculated and stored by work day in the calendar.

Procedure

1. Open the Resource Navigator window
2. Search for a resource structure.
3. Select a resource group or a resource.
4. On the Capacity tab, define manual capacity for one or several time periods in the Resource Quantity for Calculation, Group Utilization(%) and Adjustment(%) fields.
5. Alternatively, you can define the manual capacity in the Resource Detail window or in the Resource Analysis window.
