Enter Posting Control (Accrued Cost/Revenue)

Explanation

Use this activity to enter posting control information for the posting type GP2, Accrued Cost/Revenue. The posting control information is used when periodical allocation information is created.

Prerequisites

Before the posting control information can be entered, the following must have been completed:

• The company must exist in IFS Financials.

System Effects

As a result of this activity the transactions for the periodical allocation information are posted according to the posting control specification.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to enter the posting control information:

1. Open Posting Control.
2. Enter one or several rows for the posting type, depending on how you want the postings to be created. There must be at least one row, i.e., the posting control specification for code part A, Account.
3. Save the information.
4. Mark one row in the window and select the Details operation, if appropriate. The Posting Control Details window opens and you can enter detailed information for the posting type, i.e., information on the control type.
