Enter General Person Info

Explanation

This activity is used to enter or maintain general information for a person, e.g., language, country, creation date etc. This mandatory task is to be performed by a system administrator or an equivalent person.

Procedure

To perform this activity, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Persons window.
  2. Create a new record or query for an existing one.
  3. If entering a new record, in the Identity field, enter up to 10 alphanumeric values for the ID.
  4. In the Full Name field, enter or edit the person's name.
    Note: When you enter a new person record you can enter the name of the person directly in the Full Name field. But if you are editing an existing record, then click Edit to open up the Full Name dialog box.
  5. In the Default Language list, click the default language for this person.
  6. In the Country list, click the person's country.
  7. Save the changes.
