This activity is used to define external clearing system identification codes. External clearing system identification codes are used to identify different clearing systems used in different countries.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, at least one country code must exist.

As a result of this activity, external clearing system codes will be available to be connected to payment addresses.

Procedure

To define an external clearing system identification code:

  1. Open the External Clearing System Identification Codes window and create a new record.
  2. Enter an ID for the new code in the External Clearing System Identification Code field. The first two characters of the code ID you enter should be a valid country code. The Country Code field will be automatically updated when you enter the code ID.
  3. Enter a description for the new code in the Description field.
  4. Rmb Change Validity and select Block if you want to block the code from being connected to a payment address.
  5. Save the information.
