Define Attribute

Explanation

Use this activity to define an attribute in IFS/Accounting Rules. The attribute can then be used as a selection term in IFS/Report Generator.

Prerequisites

Before an attribute can be defined, the code parts must have been defined in Define Code String.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, a value can be entered for the attribute.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to define an attribute:

1. Open Code Part Attributes and use the New function.
2. Enter identity and description.
3. Use List of Values to enter the code part in the Used By field. The name of the code part is displayed.
4. Save the information.
