Load Standard Credit Card Mapping

Explanation

This activity is used to automatically map XML or CSV files to a credit card type. This is possible due to some credit card providers using a common standard for how their files are generated.

Following files can be automatically mapped:

• CSV files provided by Visa
• XML files provided by MasterCard
• XML files provided by Eurocard/Diners Club

Note: If you are using unsupported external files, you will have to perform a manual mapping.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity:

• A credit card type has to be registered in the system
• Card Format has to match a supported Format Type:
  • CSV files provided by Visa
  • XML files provided by MasterCard
  • XML files provided by Eurocard/Diners Club

System Effects

As a result of this activity, a credit card type will be automatically mapped to read a relevant external file

Procedure

1. Open the Credit Card Mapping window.
2. Search or populate to find a relevant credit card type.
3. Right-click the header and click Load Default Mapping.
4. Save your changes.
