Explanation

This activity is used to select who will be analyzed by the application in search of those who are a perfect match.

To do this, you will need to use tabs located under the What to find tab. Each tab represents a different way to group people by: their organization assignment, position, work experience, education, certificates, competencies, jobs, or schedules. Each tab holds a tree structure representing, i.e., the organization structure of the company. Picking an organization unit will mean that everyone assigned to that unit will be analized.

Prerequisites

In order to perfom this activity, an analysis header has to be registered.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, a group of people or jobs will be selected for analysis.

Procedure

1. Open the Qualification Matching window and go to the What to find tab.
2. In the Find area, select what you are looking for:
   • Select the Person checkbox to find persons fitting the matching criteria.
   • Select the Applicant checkbox to find applicants fitting the matching criteria.
   • Select the Employee checkbox to find employees fitting the matching criteria.
   • Select the Job checkbox to find jobs fitting the matching criteria.
3. Use the tabs located at the bottom of the main tab to select groups that will be analyzed. Expand the graphical structure and select one of its elements.
   • Click Add Selected to add the highlighted element to the selection. E.g., if you select a job, everyone who holds that job will be analyzed.
   • Click Add Branch to add the highlighted element and all of its subordinate elements to the selection. E.g., if you select an organization unit, every member of the entire organization branch will be analyzed.
   • You can click an already selected item from the list on the right and click Remove to cancel the selection.
   • Clicking Clear will completely clear all of the selected items.
     
   Note: If you add several items of the same type, the effect is cumulative. E.g., if you add 10 organization units, a person has to be employed in any of those units to be included in the analysis. However, if you add items of a different type, the effect is limiting. E.g., if you add an organization unit and a position, only people who belong to the unit and hold the position will be analysed.
4.  Once you are done selecting people for analysis, click Load Data Source. The tab at the top of the What to find tab will display every person or job that will be analyzed.
5. Save your changes.
