Used to define descriptions of how the employee is validated. The description is a combination of how the employee has performed and how the employee's supervisor defines the employee's potential for advancement. Examples of definitions could be Star, Solid Citizen, and Learner.
A Star is an employee who has performed well and has great advancement potential. A Solid Citizen is an employee who has performed well but has advancement potential. A Learner is an employee who has performed acceptably and needs more time to develop before advancing.
A colour should be given to each Career Advancement Type defined. This colour would be reflected in the Performance and Potential Matrix for the appropriate box.
