Assign Objectives to Multiple Employees
Explanation
This activity is used to assign objectives/activities to a group of employees. It helps
in managing the development and career for employees who share the same job or
competency profile.
Prerequisites
In order to perform this activity, objectives are required to be already
created (not mandatory) in the
Predefined Objectives
and Activities window
System Effects
As a result of this activity, the objectives as well as
the default activities connected to the objective will be assigned to the
selected employees in the
Employee Objectives and Activities window.

Procedure
Perform the following procedure to assign objectives to multiple employees
using the Predefined Objectives
and Activities window (Alternatively, you can
perform the same activity in the Connect Objectives to Multiple Employees
web page);
- Open the Predefined Objectives
and Activities window.
- Search or populate to select the objective you want to assign to employees.
- Right-click and click Connect Objective to Multiple Employees
to open the Connect Objectives to Multiple Employees window.
- In the Template ID field, enter the ID of an employee selection template in order to
select the
employees to whom you want to assign the objective. You can select a predefined
value using the list.
- Enter the ID of an objective in the Objective ID field. You can
also select
a predefined value from the list.
- In the Description
field, enter the description for an objective. If you have entered a
predefined objective value, the description will show by default.
- Specify the period of time in which the employees will be evaluated in the
Performance Period field. You can
select a predefined value using the list.
- In the Target field, enter the target value for the objective.
- In the Responsible For field, indicate who is responsible for the
fulfillment of the objective. Select a person using the list. If the field
is left blank, system would fill in the field with the Employee ID of the
person whom the objective is being assigned to.
- Enter the evaluator in the Evaluated By field. You can
select persons using the list.
- Save the information.
