Set Up Automatic Generation of Employee Number Series

Explanation

Use this function to set up the automatic generation of new employee numbers. When you have entered the Employee object and registered the Next Value, the employee number is set automatically for the new employees entered.

The identity series is shared by all companies.

System Effects

When registering a new employee in any of the New Employee wizard, Employee or Employees windows, the employee number field will be automatically set when you Save the data.
