Ship Dirty

Explanation

Use this activity to execute the ship dirty process. to be used in the complex assembly service contract. Once the part and serial details are registered for the disposition line, right mouse button option Ship Dirty is enabled. When this option is executed;

• Parts identified is automatically executed.
• A repair code is automatically added based on the setup in the Complex Assembly Service Contract/Ship Dirty tab.
• External service supplier and service type is automatically inserted for the disposition line based on the added repair code.
• Approval of the disposition line is executed automatically.
   

Prerequisites

 This activity requires the existence of a disposition shop order for a position part defined in the customer’s complex assembly service contract as shipped dirty.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, a disposition line for a ship dirty part is processed to Approved.

Procedure

1. Open the Disposition Shop Order window and search for the Order No with disposition line(s) to be processed as ship dirty.
2. Right-click on the disposition line and select the option Ship Dirty. The disposition line is processed to Approved.
   
   Note: An external service order (purchase order) is created for processing of the external service type linked with the disposition line handling the ship dirty part(s).
