Review Assembly Shop Order Modifications

Use this activity to specify the modifications to be performed on the parent part being received and to generate the repair codes based on these modifications.

Prerequisites

This activity requires the reservation of a serial number for the part being received to the assembly shop order. It also requires the existence of modifications defined for the part being received.

System Effects

As a result of this activity the specific modifications will be identified and repair codes created. Furthermore, when the part is actually received, a repair shop order is automatically created if at least one repair code has been generated.

Procedure

1. Select the Assembly Shop Order for which to review modifications.
2. Ensure that a serial reservation has been made for the part to be received from the assembly shop order and that a tracked structure has been built, i.e. the Reserve Serial No or Reserve Existing Serial No right mouse button option as well as the Build Tracked Structures in the Assembly Tracking Handling right mouse button option have been executed.
3. Right-click and then click Review Modifications.
