Select Repair Codes for Disposition Line

Explanation

Use this activity to specify the repair codes to indicate the repairs to be performed on the part being dispositioned. You can in this tab study the repair source for the combination repair code and part number. You can also define if the repair shall be processed as an Internal- or External for the service source External or Internal Repair.

Prerequisites

This activity requires the existence of a disposition line on a disposition shop order in the state of Released. It also requires the existence of repair codes defined for the part being dispositioned.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the specific repairs to be performed will be identified. The repair codes will be used to create the appropriate repair order.

Procedure

1. Open the Disposition Shop Order window and query for the required Order No.
2. Select one or more lines in the Disposition Shop Order/Disposition Lines tab.
3. Open the Disposition Shop Order/Disposition Lines/Repair Codes tab.
4. The repair codes connected to possible discrepancies and modifications appear automatically in the Repair Codes tab.
5. Use values in the Repair Included list to either include or exclude each repair code for the current order.
6. Save.

Manually add repair codes:

1. In the upper part of the Repair Codes tab, create a new record.
2. Specify the additional repair code in the Repair Code field. You can use the List of Values to select from available repair codes, or directly type the repair code.
3. Optionally, you can type a comment in the Repair Comments field.
4. Save.
