Disconnect MRO Repair Interim Order From
Parent Assembly Order
Explanation
Use this activity to manually disconnect
an MRO repair
interim order from its parent assembly interim order. Repair interim orders are usually
disconnected from the parent assembly interim orders because they cannot be
completed in time for the parent assembly orders to start. Planners may take
parts reserved for other orders in order to start the parent assembly orders.
Prerequisites
The repair interim order cannot be in state Canceled or Closed.

Procedure
- From the
Interim Header ID list, select the interim order structure that contains the repair interim order to disconnect from its parent assembly
order.
- Open the
Tree Structure tab and select the appropriate interim order.
Verify that the state of this repair interim order is not Canceled or Closed.
- Right-click
and then click Disconnect From Parent to disconnect the repair interim order.
