Cancel Maintenance Event

Explanation

This activity is used when a modification event is to be performed in another Work Scope. This activity is only applicable for modification events and not valid for other events like LLP events. Selecting the Cancel Maintenance Event menu option will reverse the running modification event in Fleet and Asset Management. This function is not reversible. The removed events would be possible to include in another Work Scope created for a future shop visit.

Only the events in state Excluded are allowed to be canceled.

Prerequisites

• Selected event must be a modification event.
• Selected event must be approved and not already signed off.
• The state of the event should be Excluded.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the selected running event will be reversed from its Running state.

Procedure

1. Open the Define Work Scope window.
2. Select the work order number for your work order part by populating or by making a selective query.
3. Click on Mx Event Sign Off tab.
4. Right-click anywhere in the row, then click Cancel Maintenance Event.
