Approve Maintenance Events

Explanation

This activity is used to approve maintenance events that are transferred from Fleet and Asset Management. Each event is automatically set to the Preliminary status upon transfer. After the approval process, the status of the event is changed to Original. You must approve all existing events before the related work scope can be released. When a work scope is released an interim order header is created from the work scope.

Observe the following scenario: New events are transferred after the work scope is released and an interim order structure is created. If the status of this interim order is either Partially Released or Released, the new events will receive the Added status. (The Added status is used to distinguish the maintenance event list that is defined after the release of the work scope.)

Prerequisites

Events with the Modification or Life limited Part event types must be transferred from Fleet and Asset Management.
