Change Expiry Date of BR Report

Explanation

This activity is used to change the expiry date of reports that are saved in the Business Reporter Export Archive during the export of Excel reports without attaching Business Reporter functionality.

A default expiry date is suggested for the report when it is archived during the export. This default value is determined by a parameter called Lifetime in days for reports archived in IFS Applications in the BR System Parameters window in IEE. A report is automatically removed from the export archive on its expiry date.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity:

• A value must have been entered for the Lifetime in days for reports archived in IFS Applications parameter in the BR System Parameters window in IEE.
• The Business Reporter report for which you want to change the expiry date must be saved in the Business Reporter export archive.
• The user to perform this activity must have access to the report in the Business Reporter export archive.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the report will be removed from the Business Reporter export archive on the date you specify.

Procedure

To change the expiry date:

1. Click Manage Export Archive in the ribbon to open the Manage Archive dialog box.
   Note: Once you export the Excel report without attaching Business Reporter functionality, you will be asked whether you want to manage the archive.You can open this dialog box by clicking Yes on when that question appears.
2. Look for the report for which you want to change the expiry date in the Report Selection tab and modify the expiry date as required in the Expiry Date field.
3. Save the change.
