In
Project Part
Definitions and
Project
Product/Part Definition, you get a list of all the
revisions of all the parts that are in use in the selected project. You can
easily access documents connected to the part definition, view the document
requirements, replace revisions, approve revisions, or view where a part
revision is used by using the right mouse button options in this window. You can
also view the supplier price from Project Quotation List by by selecting Get
Supplier Price from the Get Supplier Price menu. To override the project cost
values, see the Override Project Material Cost from
PQL Activity.
Prerequisites
- At least one project item must have been created in the project.
- To obtain any prices with the right mouse button menu option Get Supplier Price, you must first run
Get Best
Supplier Price in Project Quotation List, or the Request For Quotation (RFQ) must have resulted in an approved
Supplier Agreement. See Enter Preliminary Plan

System Effects
- If you select the Get Supplier Price option from the right mouse button menu, the
Supplier Price column
will show the prices from Project Quotation List. These values are not stored here.

Procedure
View part definitions for one project
- Select
Project
Product in the IFS Navigator.
- Populate with the
desired project, and select the
Part Definition tab.
View part definitions for several projects
- Select
Project Part Definitions in the IFS Navigator.
- Use the query function to populate the desired projects or parts.
View supplier prices from PQL
- Select the part definition(s) for which you want to see the
prices.
- Select the Get Supplier Price
option from the right mouse button
menu.
- A value appears in the Expected Supplier Price
column, if it exists in PQL
- Nothing will be updated in the database.
