Define Person for MPB Scheduling

Explanation

If IFS/Maintenance Planning Board (MPB)  is used, this activity is used to make the person available for scheduling in maintenance planning board and to consider it as a primary resource.

Prerequisites

To perform this activity:

System Effects

If Available for Scheduling is selected, the person with this employment as the primary scheduling can be allocated for Work task/PM work list  that are planned with MPB.

If Primary Resource is selected, the person with this employment as the primary scheduling is prioritize when allocating Work tasks/PM Work List in MPB

Procedure

  1. Open the Resource Navigator window.
  2. Select a Person and Click the Details tab/ Maintenance Employees.
  3. Select the Primary Scheduling employment
  4. Click MPB Options tab
  5. Select the Available For Scheduling check box.
  6. Enter a value for Scheduling Capacity.
  7. Optionally check the check box for Primary Resource.
  8. Save the information (F12).
