Enter Reporting Codes for Central Bank Reporting (DE)

Explanation

If you are a German company engaged in foreign trade, use this activity to enter the reporting codes that you will use in your monthly reports to the Bundesbank (Central Bank). 

Prerequisites

• The country codes that are used by your system must be selected by your system administrator (or equivalent person) in the ISO Code Usage window.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, you will be able to select reporting codes from the List of Values when you prepare your monthly reports to the Bundesbank.

Procedure

1. In the Country Code field, use the List of Values to select the country code that represents the county for which you will specify a reporting code. The system automatically populates the Country Description field based on the code you select.
2. In the Reporting Code field, enter the reporting code used by the company. (This code must comply with the keys used by the Federal Bank.)
3. In the Description field, enter a description of the reporting code that you specified in the Reporting Code field.
4. Save the record.
