Enter a New Site

Explanation

Use this activity to enter a new site and to define site-specific information, such as the site's company and the manufacturing and distribution calendars. This mandatory task is to be performed by a system administrator or an equivalent person.

A site can only be connected to one company. Other site-specific parameters must also be checked before using the site.

When handling multi-site ordering, you need to have at least two sites. Obviously, many different sites might be used. For example, there might be a central order entry site passing demands to multiple manufacturing/supply sites.
